knit 'n spin

This sits in the room we sleep in a my future in-laws house. I've done a pretty good job of ignoring it but it's starting to tease me. I'm trying to figure out how I can smuggle it out without them noticing. Do you think I could get parts to make it useable again? And a better question- Do I really need another hobby?

Oh, it's beautiful! I've been resisting learning to spin (too many other things to do), but I *really* wouldn't be able to resist the call of that lovely spinning wheel.

Do it, do it!

Yes you can get parts (call Dave at "The Merlin Tree") and yes...you totally need a new hobby.

Keep dreamin'. Not only is that wheel old and fragile, but it's also one of my mom's prized possessions.

I remember getting yelled at for touching it when I was a kid.

Sam, Lucy and Emily- I had no idea it was such a family treasure! I guess I'll have to suck it up and get a brand new one. Ha!
